This series is beginning to look very much like the brooms will be coming out, but our Cavaliers vs. Heat player props expect big games from at least a pair of Miami players.

Despite the action shifting to South Beach, the Cavaliers are 6-point favorites for Saturday afternoon's contest. I expect Donovan Mitchell to continue to get his teammates involved after racking up 10 assists across the first two games.

🔥 Donovan Mitchell Over 4.5 assists ⭐⭐⭐

After contributing only four assists in the Cavaliers' Game 1 blowout victory, Mitchell stepped up a bit as a facilitator in a somewhat-closer second win. He finished with six assists in Game 2, combining for 10 across the two games, which is exactly how many we need him to get tomorrow afternoon.

Mitchell took a step back as a passer this year after averaging 6.1 dimes last season, but he still managed to record five per game. Additionally, in March he registered 5.7 per contest, and the guard is above even that number throughout April.

This is easily the best price across our best sports betting sites, as DraftKings is putting the Over at -145 and BetMGM is as short as -160. The latter is the closest to Pinnacle, which features one of the most respected trading teams in the sports betting industry. It prices the Over at -163 after opening it at -116.

🔥 Davion Mitchell Over 5.5 assists ⭐⭐⭐

Donovan isn't the only Mitchell we're expecting plenty of dimes from.

The Heat may be down 2-0, but Davion Mitchell is doing his part offensively. He's scored 36 points to go along with 15 assists across the first two games, and his strong play in Game 1 led to him starting the second contest. Alec Burks, who started in the first affair, didn't even play in Game 2, with Mitchell logging more than 36 minutes.

The latter point is perhaps the most important, as Mitchell averaged one full assist more as a starter this season compared to when he came off the bench, and even that was in fewer than 30 minutes per game. In a postseason setting with teams relying heavily on starters, Mitchell could clear this total with ease if he logs upward of 35 minutes again.

🔥 Andrew Wiggins Over 5.5 rebounds ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Now, this one is a bit sketchy for the same reasons I like the Mitchell Over.

Wiggins played more than 38 minutes in Game 1, but he was pretty terrible. He finished a team-worst minus-22 while committing four turnovers. As a result, Wiggins played 10 fewer minutes in Game 2, logging only one rebound.

So, why do I like this Over? The easy answer is the price.

A bottom-up approach to betting is still the most effective. That means you use projections to find +EV prices, and then bet the best odds available. However, a top-down approach can work, too. With that, you simply compare the odds across all the best sports betting apps and pick off an outlier.
